Extra Thoughts: Red onions are also good grilled, as they sweeten when cooked.

Ingredients:
Pan spray or 2 Tablespoons, olive oil
2 sweet onions, can substitute red onion
1/4 cup Honey
1/4 cup Dijon or yellow Mustard
1/4 cup olive oil
1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire or soy sauce

1.  Spray or oil grill (wipe grill with 2 T olive oil on an old but clean rag) and then preheat to medium.

2.  Slice peeled onions horizontally into 1/2 inch slices, carefully push entire onion slices onto skewers.

3.  Whisk sauce ingredients in a small bowl.

4.  Place onion skewers on grill and brush or spoon sauce over the slices.

5.  Grill for about 6 minutes, turn and brush sauce on the other side, grill for another 6 minutes.

6.  Slide onions off long skewer into serving bowl serve with your burgers, brats, or with roasted peppers, too!

*Save time, grab these kitchen tools:
– Large knife
– Grill
– Skewers, metal or bamboo (if using bamboo skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes to prevent them from burning)
