Food Prep: Make sure you cut your vegetables in big chunks so they cook at the same time as your roast and are still formed.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Roast
  • 1 Large Onion, chopped
  • 3 pounds potatoes, cut into large chucks
  • 1 pound carrots, cut into large chucks
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1 packet of gravy mix
  • 1 packet of ranch dressing
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Directions:

1. Season both sides of the roast with salt and pepper.

2. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear the roast on both sides, then remove.

3. Place the roast in a crockpot. Top with a stick of butter and sprinkle the gravy mix and ranch dressing mix over the roast.

4. Chop up onions, carrots, and potatoes into bite-size pieces, add to crockpot.

5. Cook on high for 4 hours or low for 8 hours.
