One whole ham bone in 5 -8 #
stoneware dutch oven ( wood cookstove is best)
root veggies, carrots, sweet potatoes and irish potatoes, rutabagas, beets, baby radish, onions, garlic.
one half gallon fresh apple cider
Baste and roast ham for 4 hours at 300 degrees
Add all veggies and baste and bake for another 30 min or untill veggies are soft.
continue to baste during roasting time every 30 min.
